Decision Making Counseling

If you would like to talk with a counsellor about your circumstance and feelings, there are a few places you can go.

  • Woman’s Health Options. You can make an appointment to see a counselor at the clinic. This is most appropriate when one of the choices you are considering is abortion. The counselor can help you in exploring your feelings and give you accurate information about abortion.
  • Compass Centre for Sexual Wellness, (formerly Options Sexual Health Association) offers free pregnancy testing and information regarding abortion, adoption and parenting. The counselors are male and female and talk with you alone or with your partner or other family members. You can contact Options by phone at 780-423-3737 or visit their web site at www.compasscentre.ca
  • Canadians For Choice – Options Line is a 24-hour/ day, 7 days a week phone line answered by non-judgemental trained volunteers. You can reach them at 1-888-642-2725.
